Wolfgangsee

Lake Wolfgangsee in the Salzkammergut became a place people yearned to visit over a century ago, when artists, writers and the European nobility created the concept of the summer health resort and made it socially respectable.
Today water sports enthusiasts, families and nature lovers can all enjoy a unique holiday paradise on one of the clearest lakes in Europe.  Really in their element, though, are those who appreciate real hospitality and love good food, and those who don’t want to choose between a mountain or lakeside holiday, preferring to have both.
