Formerly a tobacco factory, today a flourishing creative hotspot - the Tabakfabrik Linz is a listed architectural jewel from the 1930s with 70,000m² of covered floor space that not only offers (work) space for around 3,000 people in 250 different companies, organisations and start-ups, but also unique event spaces, co-working spaces, shopping facilities and catering options.

The Tabakfabrik is home to a variety of companies and communities that together form an active and unique community—and thus a breeding ground for innovation. By bringing together business, creativity, new technologies, and the startup scene, the Tabakfabrik is an inspiring flagship project both nationally and internationally.

For the Curious: GUIDED TOUR
This tour is for you if you’d like to learn about the history and future of the Tabakfabrik. Experience the grounds on a guided tour lasting approximately 1.5 hours. We’ll open the doors to the “Strada del Startup” innovation area for you and take a look inside the GRAND GARAGE educational workshop. Along the “Behrensband,” you’ll find various institutions and the “Schaudepot” of the Lentos Art Museum. At Haus FALK, you’ll get a sense of “Art Magazin,” which houses artists and businesses from the creative industries.

This tour is designed for individuals and groups who want to delve a bit deeper into the transformation of the former tobacco factory into an innovation hub. We’re particularly targeting delegations or groups who want to learn more specifically about the concept and vision of the Tabakfabrik, as well as topics such as innovation, creativity, future technologies, and new work environments. Depending on your interests, we’ll visit selected locations,
institutions, and companies on the premises. We’ll set aside a little extra time for you—about 2 hours.
