Anton Bruckner, the most important Upper Austrian composer, was born in Ansfelden in 1824. Since 2014, the museum named after him in his birthplace has been dedicated to presenting his life and work.

The Anton Bruckner Museum in Ansfelden presents the life and work of the composer Anton Bruckner in its essential features in a vivid way. Audio examples give visitors the opportunity to listen to music. However, this music is not only by Bruckner himself, but also by his contemporaries or by those composers who had a lasting influence on his musical work.
