Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
The cycling holidays start in Passau. Check-in and you receive your travel documents for your bike tour. The well-known “Three River City” will impress you with its picturesque old town. Handover of your rented bike takes place in our bike centre. Example of hotel: IBB Hotel Passau Süd*** in Passau

Day 2 - From Passau to Schlögener Schlinge, approx. 40 km
The cycle path takes you downstream the River Danube. Do not miss a visit at the Engelszell Monastery, where the monks produce delicious liqueurs since centuries. Example of hotel: Gasthof Draxler*** in Niederranna

Day 3 - From Schlögener Schlinge to Linz, approx. 55 km
Enjoy a lovely riverside landscape along the Danube in direction “Schlögener Schlinge” the impressive Danube Meander. Amidst the “Schlögener Schlinge”, we recommend a short walk (approx. 40 min.) up to the viewing-point Schlögen, high above the Danube. Be enchanted by the magnificent view across the impressive Danube Meander, before cycling to Linz. Example of hotel: Hotel Prielmayerhof*** in Linz

Day 4 - From Linz to Grein/Bad Kreuzen, approx. 30 km
Your route takes you through the varied floodplain landscape of the Machland. Visit Enns, the oldest town in Austria, before reaching Grein. Example of hotel: Hotel Aumühle*** in Grein

Day 5 - From Grein/Bad Kreuzen to Marbach, approx. 30 km
Shortly after the lovely town of Grein, the Strudengau begins. This is the section of the Danube that used to be extremely feared by skippers because of its cliffs and whirls. Example of hotel:Landgasthof Zur Schönen Wienerin*** in Marbach

Day 6 - From Marbach to Vienna, approx. 50 km by bike, train ride from Krems to Vienna
The bike tour through the Wachau is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip. This region is widely known for its lively white wines. Numerous wineries and wine taverns along the route invite you to taste them. From Krems to Vienna you take the train. Vienna, the Danube metropolis and city of waltzes, is already very close. Follow in Sisi's footsteps at Schönbrunn Palace, visit Belvedere Palace or treat yourself to a ride on a horse-drawn carriage to the most important sights in Vienna. Day 7 - Return transfer to Passau or extra nights
Individual departure from your cycling holidays in Austria, bookable in addition is a return transfer by train or bus (season C) to Passau.
