Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
You start your cycle tour in Passau, the city of three rivers in Bavaria. Check into your room and hand over your cycle tour documents at the hotel. The rental bikes for your cycle tour along the Danube cycle path will be handed over to you at our bike rental point. Hotel example: Hotel Spitzberg in Passau

Day 2 - From Passau to the Schlögener Schlinge, approx. 40 km
You leave beautiful Passau and start your cycle tour in the direction of Schlögener Schlinge. Don't miss out on a visit to Engelhartszell Abbey. The Trappist monastery in Upper Austria is widely known for its delicious monastery liqueurs. Hotel example: Revita Hotel Kocher*** in St. Agatha

Day 3 - From the Schlögener Schlinge to Linz, approx. 55 km
You leave the wooded slopes of the Upper Danube Valley and cross the wide Eferding Basin on your cycle tour. Through the Linzer Pforte valley you reach the lively and modern city of Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. Numerous cultural institutions and interesting sights await you on your cycling vacation in Austria: the New Music Theater, the Lentos Art Museum, Linz Castle, the Pöstlingberg, and much more. Day 4 - From Linz to Grein/surroundings, approx. 60 km
Start the day with a city tour of Linz before continuing your cycle tour along the Danube. The Danube cycle path initially leads through the flat Machland region. Your destination for today's stage soon comes into view, the Strudengau, once feared by sailors. Hotel example: Gasthof zur Zugbrücke*** in Bad Kreuzen

Day 5 - From Grein/surroundings to the Wachau, approx. 70 km
The Danube cycle path leads past the picturesque towns of Grein, St. Nikola and Maria Taferl. Melk Abbey in Lower Austria, a World Heritage Site, greets you from afar. The imposing monastery marks the beginning of the Wachau. Take some time to visit Austria's most famous wine-growing region. Hotel example: Hotel Wachauerhof*** in Melk

Day 6 - From the Wachau to Traismauer/surroundings, approx. 40 km
The cycle tour along the Danube takes you through the world-famous wine-growing towns of Spitz, Weißenkirchen, Dürnstein and Krems. Göttweig Abbey greets you high above the Danube cycle path. You leave the Wachau in Lower Austria behind you and soon reach Traismauer. Tip: Plan a visit to one of the many wine taverns in the Wachau. Hotel example: Gasthof zum Schwan*** in Traismauer

Day 7 - From Traismauer to Vienna, approx. 70 km
The Danube valley widens again and you cycle through the meadows of the Tullner Feld. Visit the garden city of Tulln and Klosterneuburg Abbey before the Danube cycle path takes you to the metropolis of Vienna. In the world-famous city of waltzes, there is a wealth of sights waiting to be seen. Hotel example: Hotel Roomz Vienna Prater**** in Vienna

Day 8 - Return journey to Passau or additional nights
Return from your cycling vacation on the Danube cycle path to Passau, in season A and B by train (transfer of own bikes not included) in season C by bus (transfer of own bikes included) or on request also by train (transfer of own bikes not included). Individual journey home.
