"Fenn & the secret of the forest" is an augmented reality project by proHolz OÖ. Its setting is the Breitenstein in Kirchschlag above Linz.
Families, youth groups and school classes from 6th grade upwards can look forward to a forest trail which, in conjunction with the Fenn app, opens up a virtual world of adventure on a cell phone. To enter it, all you have to do is scan the information boards along the trail with your cell phone.
The hero and protagonist of the exciting forest story is the well-traveled desert fox Fenn. He accompanies the young players on a mission to find the scattered pieces of a mysterious amulet and put them back together again. Thanks to ingenious processes, the game also provides important forest knowledge - and conveys why climate-friendly and sustainably managed forests will be more important than ever in the future.
Further information about the game can be found on the website www.fennswald.at.
