In 2025, visitors to DINOLAND can immerse themselves in the mysterious past of our planet in a beautiful forest and meadow area covering 40,000 square meters! On their discovery tour through the extensive research area, they will embark on an eventful journey into a bygone age of the earth over 200 million years ago with more than 70 life-size and realistic dinosaurs, skeletons and fossils. Visitors come face to face with impressive colossi such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Triceratops and the Stegosaurus, to name just a few of the best-known lizards. They all tell interesting stories and will delight young and old researchers alike! All models have been produced true to the original under scientific supervision. Thanks to elaborate animatronics, some of them can even move deceptively realistically and make noises.

DINOLAND is a unique prehistoric classroom where interactive children's areas invite you to discover, touch and try things out. Instead of a dusty museum, children and their parents can explore exciting facts about prehistoric colossi and their time in the beautiful ambience of Katzenberg Castle.

In addition to the impressive exhibits, the adventure park offers a varied and extraordinary hands-on program for all ages. In the Dinodrome, young visitors can take a spin in dinosaur scooters, sit on life-size dinosaurs while riding dinosaurs and win a personalized researcher's passport in the dinosaur rally. Sifting through treasures and uncovering fossils in the research camp, where children become amateur archaeologists, is exciting and educational!

There is also a variety of challenging climbing and crawling facilities, giant slides, an enchanted labyrinth, exciting balancing trails, a Flying Fox, where you can "fly" from tree to tree suspended on a rope, and the DINOLAND water playground! This play paradise in and with water is not only a huge fun factor for little water rats, there is also a great educational concept behind it! A drinking fountain provides free cooling on hot days, a gold panning facility and new fossil rocks for the research camp make the excursion exciting and thrilling. There is now also a water slide, which provides additional fun, especially in the hot summer months.

Visitors should definitely plan at least three hours for the approximately one-kilometer circular route!
