Steyrer Waterwoman

Anyone who has taken a walk along the River Enns recently may have noticed that some strange things have been happening there. During one of his trips along the Enns, Wolfgang the raftsman woke up the water woman from Steyr, who was long thought to have disappeared.

With her beautiful robe and enchanting appearance, he could not deny her the wish to return to her old home and restore it. In the mystical, old cellar room with its clay floor, she sits on her throne carved from driftwood and watches over the water dwellers.

If you venture into this clay cellar, the Steyr Water Woman will read your palm and present you with lucky pebbles (sweet/edible) from the Steyr.
