Mountain Advent in Pyhrn-Priel

Living customs, regional delicacies and a glittering sea of lights Alpine traditions come to life in the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region, especially during Advent. Visit the "Pyhrn-Priel Mountain Advent" and let yourself be enchanted by the pre-Christmas atmosphere. On the weekends between November 22th and December 15th, we invite you to stroll and taste things. Culinary delicacies, traditional craftsmanship and festive Christmas sounds awaken the Christmas spirit.

Also experience the historic Niglo parade on December 5th - this was declared “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Austria” by UNESCO. In keeping with customs that are over 150 years old, around 30 characters such as angels, Nigolo Lord and Nigolo Woman, night watchmen, Klaubauf and the Habergoaß parade through the festively decorated alleys and streets.

You will receive €20 holiday vouchers per person for your accommodation. These can be redeemed at one of the many Advent markets as part of the Bergadvent Pyhrn-Priel or at around 100 regional partners. You can visit an Advent market on your own, unaccompanied.
