Your itinerary in April 2024:
Day 1: Welcome to Linz!
After your arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and discuss the program for the next few days over an aperitif.
 
Day 2: Bruckner city – concert in the Brucknerhaus
Brucknerstiege, Anton Bruckner Private University, Brucknerhaus: In Linz, pride in the great son of Upper Austria can be seen everywhere. A fixed point of the city tour is the visit to St. Mary's Cathedral, Austria's largest church. In the evening you will experience a trip highlight in the Great Hall of the Brucknerhaus: #Four - Bruckner 6. The Bruckner Orchestra Linz plays Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 in A major under the direction of Markus Poschner.
 
Day 3: St. Florian Abbey
About half an hour away from Linz is the town of St. Florian, known for the baroque monastery of the same name. Here the young Bruckner worked as a Florian choir boy, received his first music lessons and a few years later took a job as an assistant teacher. In addition to his passionate work as a teacher, he gradually developed into a professional musician during his time at the monastery. In the afternoon, thanks to the Linz Card, you have many other sightseeing options: from the Ars Electronica Center to the Lentos Art Museum and the voestalpine Stahlwelt.
 
Day 4: Linzer Torte - harbor tour
The original Linzer Torte can be enjoyed in the Jindrak pastry shop on Herrenstraße. You will be accompanied by a “Bruckner personality” from Linz – let yourself be surprised! In any case, there will be enough to talk about for the subsequent boat trip in Linz harbor. Back on land, take an exclusive backstage tour and take a look behind the scenes of the Linz Music Theater. A farewell dinner together in the Herberstein Restaurant is the cozy end to your trip.

The last day is dedicated to your individual departure.

In the evening, a special concert awaits you under KENT NAGANO & CONCERTO KÖLN in the large hall in the Brucknerhaus.
