The Goldhauben- und Kopftuchgruppe of Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt organizes the first meeting for women with pearl caps and gold ribbons

Welcome to this special meeting in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt

On May 25, 2024, the "1st Pearl Bonnets and Gold Ribbons Meeting" (handmade headwear) will take place in the World Heritage region under the patronage of State Chairwoman Martina Pühringer.

On this day in the center of Bad Goisern you can admire many wearers from the districts of Upper Austria and neighboring federal stateswith the festive version of the gold bonnet, the so-called "Pearl Bonnet" and some girls and young women with the glittering gold ribbons in their beautiful robes.

Here is the expected program:

• 09.00 a.m. Ecumenical service in the Protestant church

• 10:00 a.m. Procession to the newly designed market square with two brass bands (Bürgermusik Bad Goisern and Trachtenkapelle Ramsau)

• 10:30 a.m. Welcome of the guests of honor

• Hood exhibition from Gexi Tostmann fund in Gemeindeamt

In keeping with the event, the opening of this year's "Meistersommer" will also take place with the special exhibition "PerlMUT" in Neuwildenstein Castle.
(Special exhibitions, workshops about beads, glass, embroidery, music/artists, experts and craftsmen live on site, "PerlMUTIGE" event in evening).

In cooperation with HAND.WERK.HAUS and SCALA/Salzkammergut Craft Art Lab.

The special stamp for the Perl bonnet and Goldband Meeting is also available on this day.

The Goldhauben- and Kopftuchgruppe Bad Goisern has designed a personalised stamp with the pearl bonnet motif to mark the pearl bonnet and gold band meeting on 25 May 2024 in Bad Goisern and the opening of the Meistersommer at HAND.WERK.HAUS in connection with the Kulturhauptstadt 2024.

The stamp has a limited edition of 500 and a postage value of 100 cents.
It is sold at a unit price of 3 euros.

The personalised stamp is a collector's item and can also be used as franking.

The selling price is kept low and most of the profits from the sale will be donated to charity.
