The Schauspielhaus in Linz is the stage for great acting in an impressive ambience. Varied programme and outstanding acoustics.
The reopening in 2017 emphasised the original character of the house from the 1950s while improving the comfort and acoustics for the audience. Under the motto "Sit better, hear better, see better", the theatre now seats 500 guests.
Since 1803, the Landestheater has been a venue for drama on the Promenade. Together with the Kammerspiele and the Musiktheater im Volksgarten, the Landestheater Linz offers not only drama but also musicals, dance and opera.
