Step inside... Manuel Grabner and Claudia Stiglitz's place of pleasure in idyllic Lichtenberg presents a culinary tightrope walk between country inn and gourmet restaurant - with a great deal of passion, with heart and soul, with real dedication.

Time-honoured tradition meets exclusive gourmet experiences and harmonises despite - or perhaps because of - the contrasts. Manuel Grabner's straightforward cuisine is all about honest, unadorned dishes. For lunch, it might be boiled boiled beef or baked sweetbreads, and in the evening a multi-course gourmet menu - variety is emphasised and the 3 toques in the Gault Millau guide are presented in a way that is as suitable for everyday use as it is accessible.
