Here, Robert Thalhammer has created THALHAMMERs, a fusion of a stylish restaurant and a laid-back bar. THALHAMMERs Beach, in particular, is the perfect spot for a relaxing, refreshing drink whenever you fancy one. It features laid-back lounge areas and sun loungers – which, incidentally, you can conveniently book in advance.

Scalaria Sunset Wing Club, St Wolfgang

The exclusive beach club

This little spot on Lake Wolfgang is actually reserved for invited guests of the scalaria event resort’s clients. Only in summer can rooms at the sunset wing club – which opened in 2018 – be booked by individual guests. Complete with all the exclusive perks, such as the Morning Glory breakfast buffet featuring regional delicacies right by the lake, the gourmet dinner with live entertainment on the large terrace, and the Lake Side Night Bar serving drinks and cocktails.

Genussufer Restaurant, Unterach am Attersee

Enjoyment at the new beach pavilion

In 2021, the beach pavilion in Unterach am Attersee was completely rebuilt – and with it, the Genussufer restaurant. Dominic Holzinger and Marcel Ragger serve fresh fish from the Salzkammergut, as well as homemade desserts and the traditional Wiener Schnitzel, fried in clarified butter. At the Genussufer KIOSK, bathers can pick up chilled drinks, light snacks and ice cream.

If you want to make a stylish entrance to the beach bar at the Landhaus zu Appesbach in St. Wolfgang, you should arrive by boat from Lake Wolfgang and moor at the hotel’s own jetty. This marks the start of a peaceful and exclusive culinary experience. The kitchen serves up exquisite summery creations: unusual salad variations, stuffed pide, and beef tartare. A ‘must-try’ is the homemade Steckerleis. To accompany your meal, there’s champagne, wine, homemade lemonade or the Wolfgangsee Bellini.

The Catamaran, Weyregg on Lake Attersee

Fresh drinks and light meals

The catamaran is moored right by the lido in Weyregg on the turquoise-blue Attersee and hoists its sun sails in summer when the weather is fine. Delicious burgers, crisp salads and refreshing drinks make for a perfect day by the lake. Families love the paddling pool and the children’s playground, which they can see from the catamaran.
