The Ebenforstalm is a popular hiking destination in the Kalkalpen National Park. Sigrid and Leo put their heart and soul into looking after the well-being of their guests on the mountain pasture. Hikers appreciate the tranquillity and simplicity of simple alpine life. From the Ebenforstalm you can enjoy a marvellous view over the Reichraminger Hintergebirge and the Sengsengebirge.
Tired hikers have the option of spending the night in a simple dormitory on the mountain pasture if they book in advance - ideal for relaxing at the end of the day and experiencing nature in peace and quiet.
The two viewing peaks to the south of the alpine pasture, the striking rocky peaks of the Alpstein (1,443 m) and the Trämpl (1,424 m), can be reached quickly from the alpine pasture area. They offer an impressive 360° panoramic view of the Mollner Waldberge, the valleys and gorges of the Hintergebirge and the Ybbstal Alps.
