The fruits of the work of the monks of Stift Engelszell visitors can enjoy, shop and take home. The monastary has always been famous for its liqueurs. Especially digestible is the "Magenbitter". The recipe of the herbal mixture acquired by the Engelszeller Trappisten 1929 from a Swiss pharmacist - and it is still top secret. Since then, the monks have expanded their assortment of liqueurs again and again.

We ask tour groups arriving by coach to book their visit in advance!
The church is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00!
Short guided tour of the church with liqueur tasting: approx. 30 min, by prior arrangement.
Cost: € 9.00 / per person (from 10 people)
Large church tour with cloister and liqueur tasting: approx. 60 min, by prior arrangement.
Cost: € 11.00 / per person (from 10 persons to max. 50 persons)
