Welcome to the Waldschenke am Sternstein
Not only will you be on vacation with us from the very first minute, but also from driving, because our hiking trails and Nordic walking paths along the Nordwaldkamm start right outside the front door.
8 cozy rooms, equipped with shower, toilet and cable TV await you.
Carola looks after the guests with heart and commitment, Siegfried's concern is to spoil you with culinary delights. Out of conviction, he uses regional and mostly organic products, fresh herbs and natural salt for his fine cuisine.
In summer you can relax wonderfully in the solar-heated outdoor pool, or after a day of sport in our infrared cabin. You will see how your strength returns, joint and muscle pain disappears and you feel good again.

Let us spoil you with culinary delights in one of our cosy guest rooms. 3 different areas of different sizes invite you to linger.
Our parlour, the oldest part of the house, with a crackling fire in the stove, offers an ideal setting for family celebrations for up to 30 people. If more space is required, we can switch to our main room. Any table arrangement can be catered for (up to 60 people). In the parlour you will find cosy tables for 2 in alcoves.
In summer, our large sun terrace for approx. 60 people is a great place to linger. One of our long-standing regular guests affectionately referred to it as the ‘Mühlviertel Riviera’ because of the fantastic view and the flower arrangements. The place for a time-out, even if it only lasts for one meal.
We spoil you with regional and seasonal delicacies. In the afternoon we serve snacks and warm dishes from traditional home cooking.
On rest days we are only open on request!

You are coming from the highway......
Linz junction, A7 direction Prague, exit Prague, Bad Leonfelden, B126 via Zwettl/Rodl to Bad Leonfelden
Stay on the Bad Leonfelden bypass, B126 (do not turn into the town or Bad Leonfelden Süd or Zentrum), take the 2nd exit at the traffic circle, turn right after approx. 30 m and drive up the hill. After 3 km at the end of the road you have reached the Waldschenke.

Rohrbacher Bundesstraße, traffic circle Bad Leonfelden, 4th exit direction Czech Republic, immediately before the next traffic circle follow the signs, turn left and drive up the hill, after approx. 3 km at the end of the road you have reached the Waldschenke
