Göttfried offers international cuisine with a regional, mediterranean and French touch. Concerning the variety of dishes on offer, special emphasis is placed on the quality and regional origin of the products, along with a fine glass from the remarkable range of excellent wines.

It has become beautiful, probably the oldest inn in Linz. So beautiful, in fact, that passers-by strolling through the old town regularly and deliberately stop at the former "Goldener Anker" inn to take a curious look at the renovated parlour from the outside. The cool tiles have given way to a warm oak floor, and new life has been breathed into the kitchen and the inner courtyard. As far as possible, the charm of yesteryear, including the wood panelling in the parlour, has been retained and restored.
Christian and Simone Göttfried are two gastronomic professionals who have already spent a decade creating an epicurean meeting place for gourmets at the Schrot in Alkoven.
The result is impressive: A pearl in the heart of Linz.
