When it comes to recreational activities, Luftenberg has it all in profusion! The name of the village and the mountain of Luftenberg is believed to have its roots much back in time and is derived from 'Luffinperc '.

And the lovely reservoir area of the Abwinden Danube Power Station lends itself to outstanding nature exploration.
