Magical Advent in Hinterstoder

Traditionally on the first weekend of Advent, the center of Hinterstoder takes on a Christmassy dress. The large Christmas tree, the warm glow of candles and lanterns set the mood for the most contemplative time of the year. Let yourself be enchanted by the light of the fire bowls and the atmospheric ambience around the lovingly designed stands of local associations, regional businesses and artists. The handcrafted treasures range from nativity scenes, ceramics, pearl and silver jewelry, fashion accessories made of wool, felt and fabric, to woodturning, carvings and children's toys. Also on offer are game products, sausages, Holzknechtspatz`n, raclette breads, liqueurs, cookies, herbs, honey products, billets, pictures, door wreaths, flower arrangements, health products and much more. In the cozy parish café, delicious homemade pastries are served with coffee.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM:
Young visitors can get active making Christmas tree ornaments from beeswax, twisting candles, felting baubles, weaving baskets, or try spinning with a hand spindle and get in the mood creatively for the Christmas season.
