Percussion virtuoso Christoph Sietzen and organist Martin Riccabona perform exciting rarities for organ and percussion in the Brucknerhaus.

While percussion can often be experienced in ensemble constellations, the organ is a much rarer duo partner. Nevertheless, some highly exciting compositions for organ and percussion were created in the 20th and 21st centuries, for example Andrea Tarrodi's imposing Poseidon from 2021 or Ground II by Thierry Escaich from 2007. We can expect forces of sound, such as in Sofia Gubaidulina's impressive work Detto I from 1978, which explores the full range of the instruments' tonal possibilities.
