In his Brucknerhaus debut, Rafał Blechacz combines works by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart and Franz Schubert with works by his compatriot Frédéric Chopin.
At the age of just 20, Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz won the renowned Chopin Competition. In his piano recital, he traces the epoch-making developments in piano music of the early 19th century: from Wolfgang Amadé Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major with its third movement known as the 'Turkish March' to Franz Schubert's impromptus bursting with musical ideas and virtuoso salon pieces by Frédéric Chopin.Untere Donaulände 7, 4010 Linz
