Rafał Blechacz

At the age of just 20, Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz won the renowned Chopin Competition. In his piano recital, he traces the epoch-making developments in piano music of the early 19th century: from Wolfgang Amadé Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major with its third movement known as the 'Turkish March' to Franz Schubert's impromptus bursting with musical ideas and virtuoso salon pieces by Frédéric Chopin.
