OK Linz

The OK is an exhibition space and laboratory for contemporary art that provides a platform for current artistic movements to be presented and developed collaboratively. Its focus is on the creation of media art combined with an in-depth exploration of sociopolitical issues.

As an exhibition and production house for contemporary art, the OK Offene Kultuhraus Oberösterreich accompanies artistic works from the idea to the realisation to the exhibition. The architecturally sophisticated ambience of a converted school creates the setting for an extraordinary spatial and artistic concept.

Programmatically, the focus is on multimedia group and individual projects, mostly by young artists, which often address current social issues. Symposia, art education and music programmes expand the range of exhibitions.
