If you want to experience the Johannesweg in a short amount of time and enjoy a challenging hike, this tour is perfect for you. Over three days of varied hiking, you’ll tackle challenging stages through the gently rolling hills of the Mühlviertel. Sweeping views, idyllic forests, traditional villages, and numerous places of spiritual energy make every hike a special experience.
The Johannesweg is an approximately 84-kilometer circular hiking trail in the Mühlviertel that uniquely combines nature, exercise, and reflection. Named after St. John, it winds through one of Upper Austria’s most beautiful landscapes and invites you to leave the daily grind behind.
Thanks to the included transfers, you’ll reach each stage of the hike in comfort and can focus entirely on the hiking experience.

- Stage: Pierbach to St. Leonhard – 26 km
- Stage: St. Leonhard to Kaltenberg – 27 km
- Stage: Kaltenberg to Pierbach – 31 km
Of course, you’re free to choose your own stages—but the pickup points for the transfer must be discussed in advance with the Lehner family!
