Day 1 - Individual arrival in Salzburg
Check in to your hotel and hand over your travel documents. Bike handover (when booking our rental bikes).

Day 2 - From Salzburg to Lake Attersee, approx. 60 km
You start your cycling vacation in the Mozart city of Salzburg and leave the city in the direction of Wallersee. On this stage through the Salzkammergut, you will already experience the special landscape that invites you to cycle. Along the shores of picturesque Lake Mondsee, your cycling vacation continues to Austria's largest inland waterway, Lake Attersee - a highlight for all those who want to discover the Salzkammergut on two wheels.

Day 3 - From Lake Attersee to Lake Traunsee, approx. 50 km + boat trip
Well fortified from breakfast, you start your stage of your cycling vacation with the short ascent into the Weißenbachtal valley. As you cycle through the impressive Salzkammergut region, you will be rewarded with a rapid descent to the banks of the Traun. Your tour through Upper Austria now takes you along the Traun to Ebensee am Traunsee - a real highlight for anyone who wants to enjoy their vacation by bike. Take a leisurely boat trip to Gmunden and experience the Salzkammergut from its most beautiful side.

Day 4 - From Lake Traunsee to Linz, approx. 30 km + train ride
You continue your cycle tour along the Traun to Lambach and enjoy the varied landscape of Upper Austria. Then continue by train to Linz, where your cycling vacation continues in an exciting way. Take a discovery tour through the city. Numerous attractions await you, such as the Ars Electronica Museum with its fascinating Deep Space or the modern Lentos Art Museum.

Day 5 - From Linz to Grein/surroundings, approx. 60 km
Cycling past the Danube town of Mauthausen, your tour takes you into the impressive natural landscape of the Danube floodplains. Along the Danube Cycle Path, you can enjoy untouched floodplain landscapes where rare animals and plants can be discovered.

Day 6 - From Grein/surroundings to the Wachau, approx. 65 km
Experience the history of the once dangerous Danube navigation in the shipping museum in Greinburg - an exciting stopover on your cycling vacation along the Danube cycle path. Afterwards, explore the Strudengau up close while cycling and admire the impressive, rugged rock formations of this unique landscape.

Day 7 - From the Wachau to Vienna, approx. 65 km by bike + train ride
The ride through the Wachau is a real highlight for anyone who wants to combine culture and enjoyment while cycling. A real cultural firework awaits you along the Danube Cycle Path - from visits to traditional wine cellars to the unique cultural landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage region. Tip: After your cycling vacation, take a leisurely streetcar ride along the Ring and experience many of Vienna's sights, such as the State Opera, Hofburg Palace, Parliament, Votive Church and City Hall - a perfect end to your vacation by bike through the Salzkammergut and the Danube.

Return journey by train to Salzburg (included). You have to book the bike parking spaces yourself with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
