Green Meetings & Events in Upper Austria
Creative workspaces in the countryside, mountain backdrops by the water or far-reaching views in the centre of the city - Upper Austria's conference landscape is embedded in the midst of unspoilt nature. And this must be preserved and protected - also in the context of events and meetings. Here we show you how to plan a green meeting, present environmentally certified organisations and answer the most important questions.
Sustainable event organisation in Upper Austria
Congresses, conferences, seminars and events are an important economic factor in Upper Austria. In order to minimise the consumption of resources, the Convention Bureau Upper Austria acts in accordance with the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings and Events. We have been awarded the ecolabel for "Green Meetings and Green Events" since June 2022.
As a licensee, we organise our own events as Green Events & Meetings and, as a hub and driving force for the conference and event industry in Upper Austria, we want to raise awareness and provide information on this topic. In doing so, we are sending an active signal for the environment and a conscious signal to our partners and guests.
