We start with linen weavers and *Blaudruck* dyers in the Mühlviertel before heading to the Danube, where we stop to visit a glass artist and a traditional barge builder. Then we travel on to the oil mill in Raab and pay a call to a graphic artist in a former foundry in Ried ahead of a visit to a jaw harp maker in Molln. Awaiting us in the celebrated Salzkammergut region are the long-established Gmundner Keramik manufactory in Gmunden and celebrated hatmaker Kathi Bittner in Bad Ischl. Close copyright Sebaldus Pilgrimage Trail for gastronomes ----------------------------------------- The Sebaldusweg pilgrimage trail runs over the hills and mountains of the Enns Valley National Park Region in the south-east of Upper Austria. With the theme of “appreciation in everyday life”, the route has been designed to encourage walkers to pause and reflect over four days, a distance of 85 kilometres and a total climb of 3,000 metres. Along the way, hikers will come across seven churches, three pilgrimage churches and 30 chapels, where they can rest and give themselves time for contemplation. And with inns, producers and first-class restaurants located en route, there’s no shortage of opportunities to stop for culinary refreshment too.
