Give your wallet a break with Upper Austria’s holiday cards

Use the funiculars and cable cars in the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region for free. Get discounted entry to the Kaiservilla in Bad Ischl in the Salzkammergut region. Enjoy a low-priced cruise on the waves of the Danube and experience the great museums of Linz free of charge. The cards available in Upper Austria’s holiday destinations are your key to great-value leisure activities.

Salzkammergut Erlebnis Card

The Salzkammergut Experience Card offers a discount of up to 30 % at the most popular leisure attractions in this region of lakes and mountains. The Salzkammergut Erlebnis Card is available from 1 May to 31 October.

It is free of charge when you spend three or more nights in the regions of Ausseerland, Dachstein-Salzkammergut, Traunsee, Attersee, Bad Ischl, MondSeeLand, Fuschlsee, Attergau, and Almtal. In the Wolfgangsee region, it costs € 3.90 per person with a minimum of three nights' stay.

Pyhrn-Priel Card

The Pyhrn-Priel Card is available for use in the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region in the season from 13 May to 10 October 2021 and 23 October to 1 November 2021. It brings together around 40 free services - including cable car rides - and 20 bonus offers with discounts. The Pyhrn-Priel ActivCard is aimed at holidaymakers. It is given away free of charge by around 180 accommodation providers in the region with bookings of one night or more and is valid throughout the stay.

Linz Card

The Linz Card opens the doors of the city's museums, such as the Ars Electronica Center, the Lentos Kunstmuseum (Lentos Art Museum), the Schlossmuseum (Castle Museum), and the voestalpine Stahlwelt (voestalpine World of Steel) - free of charge. Plus, the card gives a discount on a whole series of further deals in and around Linz.It can also be used as a ticket for travel on buses and trams in the Linz AG network. The Linz Card costs € 16.00 for one day (concessions: € 15.00) and € 35.00 for three days (concessions: € 33.00).

For the DONAU-Card, more than 70 providers of leisure activities along the Donau in Upper Austria have signed up to offer discounts of at least 20 per cent. Shipping companies and bicycle hire firms are on board alongside hiking and landscape guides and museums.

The DONAU-Card costs € 4.90 per person. Selected partner companies give the card for free to guests staying two or more nights. It is valid in the period between 1 April and 31 December.
