We recommend travelling by public transport!
by train: from Wels railway station take the Almtalbahn (line 153) to Grünau im Almtal; numerous connections from Wels railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101)

by bus: OÖVV bus route 533/534 Almsee - Grünau - Gmunden

by bike:
On the Almtalradweg R11 to Grünau im Almtal, after the train station turn left over the bridge into the town centre (continue right towards Almsee)
Traunviertel tour - stage 2 from Schlierbach to Gmunden

By car:

Grünau im Almtal train station - Cumberland Wildlife Park - Almsee GH Seehaus or Hochberghaus (May to October) and Almtaler Haus (1 May to 15 September)

Daily from 07:00 to 19:30, also on Sundays and public holidays every half hour.
