Toll sticker and digital vignette:
Austrian motorways are subject to tolls. This means that the toll sticker must be stuck behind the windscreen or purchased digitally before the journey. The toll sticker is valid for ten days, one month or one year and is available at border crossings, petrol stations and from automobile clubs as well as digitally at www.vignette.at.
Winter tyre obligation:
Please be aware of the statutory winter equipment for your vehicle in Austria: from 1 November to 15 April, under winter road conditions, winter tyres must be fitted on all four wheels.
