An accompanied hike with the certified hiking guide Bettina Jehle through the impressive Echerntal, a part of the village Hallstatt.

The hike to the glacier garden

The hike begins at the parking lot in Echerntal and leads along the Waldbach (stream) and back to the glacier garden which is a relict of the last ice age about 12 000 years ago. This was discovered in 1926 and made accessible to visitors. The path continues to Klausalm, where the magnificent view of Hallstatt with the Lake Hallstatt can be enjoyed. The beautiful view of the valley rewards the ascent.

Guided hikes with Betty Jehle

The state-certified hiking guide and forest educator will show you the nature, the mountains and the lakes in the Dachstein Salzkammergut from a very special side, even off the beaten track.

On the hiking tours, which are specially designed for children, they learn how to deal responsibly with nature and get to know it in a playful way.
