Despite the extreme drought, we managed to keep the cattle on the alpine pasture. At 10:00 a.m., the cattle will begin their descent from the Brettmaisalm, located next to the Grünburger Hütte. At the same time, the supporting program will kick off at the Oberbichler family’s home in Dorngraben. The Nussbach Music Association and the Steirer Kanonen will provide musical entertainment. The Prangerschützen Molln will announce the arrival of the alpine cattle with their traditional muskets. The Landjuend Micheldorf will provide refreshments. The program is rounded out by a farmers’ market, a special children’s program featuring a large children’s raffle, and wonderful woodcarving and blacksmithing displays.
