The ABU Dance Institute, founded by expressive dancer Isolde Klietmann, will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. The institute played an important role in the development and worldwide spread of modern dance. Expressive dancers from that era spread this dance form to other countries after fleeing Nazi terror. The dance evening bridges the gap between history and the present, as contemporary dancers artistically reinterpret the repertoires of some of these iconic dance works and techniques.
