Music History on the Tuba: A Special Evening for Your Laughter Muscles and Discerning Ears

 Every musical instrument takes pride in its finest solo pieces. And rightly so. Tuba players know this all too well, because they have hardly any of their own. So the most famous of all tuba players, Andreas Martin Hofmeir—accompanied by pianist Barbara Schmelz—steals the best from the competition. A brazen concert-style appropriation! And as if that weren’t enough: with satirical poems from his *\*Hundsgemeine Instrumentenkunde\* (\*The Vile Instrument Guide\*)* , he also *finishes* her off with his words. A special evening for your funny bone and your discerning ears.
