The group has now earned a total of 37 gold and 29 platinum records, as well as a multi-precious-metal award, cementing their status as Austria’s most successful Schlager band. All of this is a great honor for the Austrian cult band, which had to fear for the life of its frontman after Gottfried “Friedl” Würcher suffered a heart attack last year.
