For others, ams has a soulful vibe, a charismatic voice, and clever lyrics in the Upper Austrian dialect. ams is, in fact, the singer, pianist, and songwriter AnnaMaria Schnabl. She combines the Upper Austrian dialect with Viennese wit—in a way that’s unmistakable, double-edged, and successful. “The dialect is the most natural thing that comes out of me,” says ams.
