Chamber music: Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 14, Nordic folk tunes and the film music for *There Will Be Blood* by Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood
The members of the Danish String Quartet have been making music together since childhood. Over the years, they have grown together to become one of the most exciting Scandinavian ensembles of our time. Not only do they play the classics of the repertoire with bravura, including Dmitri Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 14 in F sharp major, but they also devote themselves with at least as much passion to their own compositions and arrangements of Nordic folk tunes.
For their debut at the Brucknerhaus Linz, they also have film music with them: none other than Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood was responsible for the soundtrack to the western *There Will Be Blood*.
