Their performances have taken them from Scandinavia to Egypt and from the USA back to the beautiful Wachau, where the ensemble was founded in 2004.In hundreds of concerts – from the noble philharmonic hall to the rustic pub hall – Federspiel developed its own musical language in the tension between tradition and modernity and established itself as one of the most innovative ensembles in the European brass music scene.
