For many years now, it has been the traditional way to wrap up the year and the largest New Year’s Eve fun run in Upper Austria. In 2026, more than 1,200 runners aged 3 to 99 will once again bid farewell to the old year in style with a run through the city center. Kids’ races, a fun run (3 km), and the main 6 km race will once again draw many people in costume and creative costume designers to the main square! Join in—don’t miss out on the fun! We at Team TriRun and HYPO OÖ look forward to seeing you there on Thursday, December 31, 2026!
