It is traditionally raised with the help of muscular strength, by the **[Obertraun mountain rescuers](http://www.bergrettung-obertraun.at)** and helpers. From 06:00 p.m. sausages and drinks are served After 07:00 p.m. the tree will be decorated before setting up Shortly before dark, the tree (about 30 meters) is standing in front of the municipal office and will be **guarded** by the native guys.
