In **white robes**, **caps** weighing up to **20 kilograms** and equally heavy **bells**, they walk through the village. The Glöckler-run begins at **4:45 p.m.** at the community square in **[Obertraun](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/obertraun.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata)**. There the Glöckler run their circles and are accompanied by the **Obertrauner "Weisenbläsern"** (brass band). Afterwards the Glöckler, divided into three groups, run through the whole village wishing the population a happy new year. The Glöckler are invited to rest in various guesthouses and private houses and provided with warming tea and a good snacks.
