The Austrian municipality belongs to the district of Braunau am Inn in the Innviertel and lies on the Salzach right opposite the Bavarian town of Burghausen with the world's longest castle. Franz Xaver Gruber, the composer of "Silent Night", was born here. The border to Burghausen is two kilometres away, and the companies WACKER-Chemie, OMV and Gendorf are between 5 and just under 20 minutes away by car; Supermarket, butcher, bakery, hairdresser, bank, fitness studio, doctors, police, pizzeria and restaurants can be reached in approx. 2 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot. Footpaths and cycle paths are available here. The house is a non-smoking house, smoking is only permitted outside. All the cosy sitting areas are inviting. We offer five double rooms, depending on the type of occupancy, extra beds may also be available. Three rooms have their own shower/WC in the room or in the corridor. The remaining two rooms share a bathroom with shower + WC on the upper floor, whereby one of these two rooms has a small kitchen. The lovingly furnished rooms are all equipped with satellite TV and free WLAN. A large, friendly communal kitchen, also with satellite TV, two sinks, two ovens and two electric hobs can be found on the ground floor. Washing machine and tumble dryer can be used for a fee. Towels are of course available on request. The rooms are cleaned weekly. Bed linen is changed every 14 days for longer stays. The minimum stay is preferably three nights.
