Through its central location, it’s the perfect spot to reach all surrounding villages (Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Bad Aussee, Gosau, Obertraun, St. Wolfgang) within 15-25 minutes by car. We’d love to be your hosts and make your stay a truly unique experience. **From April to November**, Bad Goisern offers many opportunities for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers and other nature lovers. There are many swimming opportunities in the surrounding 76 Salzkammergut lakes, the cosy river bathing area near the house (3 minutes' walk), the local heated outdoor pool (10 minutes' walk) or also the lido at Lake Hallstättersee (5 minutes' drive). **Mountain biking:** The inner Salzkammergut and especially Bad Goisern can be described as a mountain bike Eldorado. You can explore hundreds of kilometres of paved forest roads on various routes of all levels of difficulty. For e-bike riders, there are possibilities to rent e-bikes and even recharge them at various huts in order to complete a long tour. In Bad Goisern, Austria's largest mountain bike race takes place in July with the annual Mountain Bike Trophy. Thousands of starters from all over the world come to compete in this very special race. There are many different routes, categories, etc. so that there is something for everyone. In Goisern you will find everything your mountain bike heart desires, including two bike workshops, shops and rental bike stations, a wheel producer (Pancho Wheels), as well as bike guiding or technique training including rental bikes with Electric Flow. Villa Salzweg is an ideal base camp for your mountain bike or e-bike trip. We offer a well locked bike room for our guests, as well as the possibility to charge your e-bikes there. Furthermore, there is a bike washing area in front of the house. Thanks to the central location of the house, you can be on the various routes offered by Bad Goisern and the inner Salzkammergut in no time. There is a possibility to rent bikes in the immediate vicinity at Bikes4You (4 minutes walk), at Goisern BikeWorld (5 minutes drive) or directly delivered to Villa Salzweg by Electric Flow. **Swimming:** Bad Goisern and the surrounding area offer a globally unique wealth of bathing opportunities in breathtaking scenery. Whether in the beautiful natural bathing lakes of the inner Salzkammergut with their spacious bathing areas, the Goiserer FKK lido, on the Traun or in the open-air swimming pool, you will definitely find enough opportunities to cool off on a hot summer day. At many lakes there are also opportunities to rent boats, canoes or even SUP's, as well as water fun with banana boats, water skiing or similar. **Things To Do:** The region is bursting with must-see things.
