House Mathe is located just a few minutes' drive from Upper Austria's largest ski area: **Dachstein West / Krippenstein** The **Dachstein West** ski area is the largest ski area in Upper Austria. The **Dachstein West ski region** ticket network includes a total of **7 ski areas** with a total of 160 kilometres of pistes and **70 lifts**. The multi-day ticket (from 1.5 days) can be used in all of the ski areas listed below.- **Dachstein West** - Gosau, Russbach, Annaberg (home town of Marcel Hirscher) - Free Sports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein (Austria's longest downhill run at 11 km!) - Feuerkogel Ebensee - Karkogel Abtenau - Skilift Lungötz - St. Martin am Tennengebirge - Hallein/Bad Dürrnberg By car it is about 20 minutes to **Gosau,** Russbach or the Krippenstein.
