The Werfneralmhütte can be reached via the National Park Circuit (3 days) b) from Bodinggraben via the Schaumbergalm over the "Trämpl" and on via the Ebenforstalm to the Werfneralmhütte (the Trämplweg is an old cattle trail - it is essential to dismount here and lead the horse - use at your own risk!) from Reichraming via the Waldbahnstraße to the Große Klause and on to the Werfneralm Hut from Unterlaussa (Dörfl) via Mooshöhe on to the bivouac site (Weißwasser) via the Waldbahnstraße (tunnels) on via Große Klause to the Werfneralm Hut Bookable for hiking groups on request. Access by car not possible!
