The Maxlhaid guest house with its comfortable rooms is particularly suitable for drivers and motorcyclists: situated close to the motorway junction Wels-Ost of the A25 Linz-Passau and with secure and free parking. Comfortable and sophisticated restaurant, wine cellar and guests' garden surrounded by greenery for a relaxing and recharging break. And transport history was written here. The hotel was initially a castle (1799)and was then a station for the Budweis-Gmunden horse railway from 1834 - 1859. Train enthusiasts will enjoy the 'BAHNZEIT' museum with its horses.
