The Sommerau hut is romantically located in a forest clearing in Gosau am Dachstein. Here you will find cosiness and relaxation far away from the crowds of tourists and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hut offers every comfort: **double** and **triple rooms**, **sauna**, **relaxation room**, kitchen incl. cooker, a cosy TV room with a large couch and a table and much more for cosy hours with family and friends. The hut offers space for **10 people**. In summer, access with your own car is possible via **4 km** of **forest road**. 4 ascents and descents are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent costs € 20.80. Many **hikes** and **bike** **tours** can be started from the alpine pasture. In winter, the **cable car** takes you up to the **middle station**. The landlord, Mr. Gamsjäger, can help with **luggage transport** in his car. It is only a **few metres** to the ski **slope** of the Dachstein West **ski region** and to the middle station, and yet you can enjoy the peace and quiet here. Gosau also has a lot to offer as an alternative to skiing. Let yourself be pulled by **horse-drawn** **sleighs** through snow-covered forests, glittering winter landscapes and enjoy the unique panorama.
