In the idyllic Gosau Valley, in the beautiful Salzkammergut Region, our spacious studio flat is ideal for couples of all ages. Enjoy exciting outdoor activities or a romantic short break - all year round.

Our flat

Our sunny south-west-facing flat is high up on the 3rd floor and has extensive views over the spectacular Gosau Valley, onto the Gosaukamm and across the meadows to the ski slopes.

It consists of one large room, the living area has a large sofa for extra comfort, a dining table, two single beds at the back. There is a modern kitchen, with a halogen hob and the bathroom, with a bathtub and shower and a balcony for extra space - especially nice for eating in the sun.

Wonderfully located in the renowned Vital Complex in Gosau, recently renovated to a high standard, our guests can enjoy the wonderful mix of sports and leisure facilities and try the wellness centre or gym - for a truly great time.

Our guests can also enjoy free use of the indoor pool and sauna and special management rates in the hotel's own restaurant. Our flat is self-catering, but there is a wide choice of restaurants in the area - in the village, on the mountain peaks, next to the Gosausee and other lakes, eating out is a nice and varied experience, in our region!

In summer

Due to our central location, our flat is a perfect starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. The surrounding World Heritage sites can also be reached by car within 30 minutes. Excursion destinations such as the Giant Ice Caves on the Krippenstein, the Salt Mine or the Löckermoos in Gosau are a highlight for the whole family.

In winter

The ski region Dachstein West can be reached in a few minutes by car or you can use the free ski bus, which is only a few metres away from the accommodation. The cross-country skiing trails are directly located and offer over 40km of cross-country skiing fun throughout the Gosau valley.

Downstairs, by lift/stairs, is the hotel's leisure centre where guests can have a range of spa treatments like steam room, sauna, massage, quiet room, facial treatments, turkish bath and swimming. In winter guests can plunge into the snow too!
The garden is a relaxing place to relax on sunbeds, or at the terrace with a drink.
There is also indoor tennis courts, a games room with ping-pong, table soccer and billiards, a gym, creche, and on occasions arranged walking and cycling tours.
There is also, of course, a bar with cocktails, and a full-service restaurant where our guests may also dine with the advantage of specially discounted prices, so a 3-course meal is both tasty and very good value!
The hotel is currently being refurbished off-season so there is more good facilities to come!

from Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After about 50 m turn left. After 200 m you will reach Apartment Shelbourne.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction, continue straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After about 50 m turn left. After 200 m you will reach Apartment Shelbourne.

By bus (irregular on Sundays):
From Bad Ischl: Bus direction Gosausee (Lake Gosau), get off at the bus stop "Gosau Abzweigung Pass Gschütt" and follow the signs to Vitalhotel on the left side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Apartment Shelbourne.

From Rußbach: Take the bus in the direction of Gosau, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Abzweigung Pass Gschütt" and follow the signs to the Vitalhotel on the left side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Apartment Shelbourne.
