The route leads steadily uphill and downhill through small villages to the Danube valley, where the route rewards you with beautiful views of the Danube and the Schlögener Schlinge. A flat section along the river provides relaxation before the return route leads through the valley of the Kleine Mühl back up to the Mühlviertel. Via Rohrbach-Berg, the route finally leads back to the starting point - a varied loop with plenty of scenery and classic Mühlviertel character.
