This is where the most beautiful part of the tour begins: endless gravel sections, quiet forests and the historic Schwarzenberg alluvial canal, which you follow for a while until you reach the Vltava reservoir. The return journey takes you across the green border back to Ulrichsberg. The route is technically easy, but physically demanding due to its length and undulating elevation profile. There are several refreshment stops along the way - on the Austrian, German and Czech sides.
